Let's Review: Save Jesus

A Reason To Lose Faith

If you saw a game on Steam for 0.39p, would you assume it has a level of quality? Yeah neither would I. However, 39p is still 39p, and Save Jesus isn't even worth that.

This game looks like one of those online Flash Games but bad. The idea is simple. Make a ball roll around to grab stars and murder Roman soldiers. Why? To Save Jesus I guess? There's no story to the game. Just 100 "levels" if you can call them that.

There are certainly some levels that are in some way 'clever' or well designed but it's never exactly good enough to make you go "woah that was really cool." The game was somehow Greenlit on Steam, won't question how though.

I will say this though; the game is hilarious. Not because of anything the game does well. Mostly because it makes no god damn sense, and the occasional voice "acting" appears to amuse you even more.

Honestly, I don't really know what to say about this game. It's cheap and it's awful, but it's pretty amusing. Do I regret the hour I dedicated to doing the first 40 levels? Nah. Would I recommend it? Only if you want something to laugh at for a while.

The game gets a 3/10 from me.

It isn't exactly glitchy or buggy or broken, it's actually designed kinda well, it's just difficult to say anything good about it. If you want to pay for a free browser puzzle game then try out Save Jesus.
