Sorry to hear your friend died.. it's hard to find a really good DM... I had one but he left he's wife and moved away.. real nutjob, but a very good DM.

Yes, good DMs are hard to find. Had a good one, but then i had to move to the other side of the world for work. Didn't find any local group, so had to start one myself. So no, not a very good DM ;-)
