Hello game lovers! Do you remember the classic title called Kingpin?

Kingpin is a first-person shooter and at the time it's the first game packed with disclaimers than any other game at that time.
From the moment you start up the game, you must go through some age statement, content warnings and editorial about youth violence and responsible parenting. But when you start to play it, there is violent content but no more than any other first person shooter game, but almost every word is profane. But that's the reason only because of the political climates in that time, but the game itself is a great shooter.

The game and the dialogs are greatly inspired by movies such as Pulp Fiction. One thug enemy that you are chasing also screams all of the most known lines from Big Lebowsky. the story doesn't have some special meaning, you are a thug seeking for revenge, and everyone who stands on your way needs to be dealt with. First-person shooter that travels through ruff neighborhoods dealing with bosses. Every six locations in the game represents a metropolitan nightmare, graffiti on the trains, trash appartments, shady streets, dark alley's.

The developers tried to put in some of adventure element, besides of being straight shooter game, you can communicate with NPC, and depends witch answer you pick to start a conversation with other people, you can approach aggressively or either passively. The information will be given regardless of answers, and dialog's are almost always profanity street talk. So if you pick aggressive answer it will almost always finish with fight, but if you chose another more passive attitude, you can even recruit friends. But they can be also provoked if you are drawing weapon on them, so it must be holstered. That can be a bad thing because things can escalate quickly and you may not be ready.

In every level there you can stop buy to a Pawn-O-Matic shop to buy weapons and armor.

You can get cash from the bodies you killed and spent it for weapon, or stock up health. you can also hire one or two bodyguards, and that is very interesting point. The muscle you hired to protect you will follow you anywhere, and will keep up with you regardless of terrain. there you can make your strategies. You can command them to stay put, follow you or target something specific. So with this easy commands with your goons you can make ambushes, tactical retreats making and leaving bloody-mes everywhere.

One of my favorite things in the gameplay is the soundtrack!

Through out of the whole game they included 3 songs of Cypress Hill taken directly from their IV album in 1998. which one of the track is constantly playing. Some would be fed up with that, but for me that beat is still legendary after all these years. Cypress Hill also provided some vocals for the game.

The game is really old and have a ton of and have a ton of bad things, but I guarantie you, you will have fun playing, you will be chalenged from intensive gunplay, and if you are sensitive about cursing and profane language there is an option to set up low-violence tab, making it on every swearing word to go beep, and you would be hearing beep a lot.
