Hey everyone. I lurk on the gaming subreddit over on reddit.com frequently enough to see that there's always some kind of backlash related to EA, or other 'hyper-capitalist' corporations for trying to milk as much as possible out of those that consumer their games.
The bit about Valve starts @ ~15minutes in, but the whole thing is worth a watch
For those that do not know who Professor Richard Wolff is -- he has been a professor of economics that is very outspoken regarding the fact that he does not think that the capitalist system serves people as well today as other systems could, and that this is a conversation that we as a society should be having.
I'm posting this here rather than on an economics thread, or other such leaning community is because I would imagine that my boy Dick Wolff is probably pretty well known in those circles. I don't know if linking to youtube posts is acceptable 'round these parts with d.tube being a thing and all, but I don't know how to use that yet.
