Naughty Dog explain the beginning of The Last of Us
Being one of the Sony Interactive Entertainment golden children for Naughty Dog continues to maintain the quality of the game at a high level. This is evidenced by some games that continue to get good response from the fans and media criticism. The presence of the Uncharted series and The Last of Us which soon entered the second series, making them one of the developers who are good at making good 3rd person adventure games. However, what would happen if The Last of Us were made with a first-person perspective?
Through an event held at the D.I.C.E Summit located in Las Vegas (via DualShockers), The Last of Us Part II director Neil Druckmann explains the beginning of the making of The Last of Us. He said that during brainstorming, many teams are debating whether the game will be created first-person or third person and its consequences. They finally decided to make it in the third person perspective but with a closer camera to "feel like a first-person game".
