As usual the community day event will last for six hours and will be on a Sunday this time around again from 11am to 5pm local times. The bonus during the event will be three times Catch XP. No other rewards have been announced except for the typical three hour lure and incense duration.
As usual, you will have a chance to encounter the shiny form of the Pokémon Spheal in increased probabilities during the event. However, in what I think is a first, two exclusive moves with be able to be learned by evolving into Walrein. Walrein will be able to learn the Charged Attack Icicle Spear and the Fast Attack Powder Snow. It will be interesting to see how much interest this gets from the community this month.
