There is certainly no reason that you can't! All of the tools except Illustrator are free, and there are certainly vector drawing programs that you can use instead that are open source. (Inkscape, for example.)

Everything that I do here you are more than capable of doing yourself. It's just a matter of beating your head against the problem until it falls down.

That is some nice motivation. I can replicate almost everything but not with the amount of details that i would want to.. To be fair, i did not allocate to much time to learn. I thought that if you are just not talented at any form of art, it is impossible to do it. But i guess, hard work surpasses talent combined with laziness

Hard work surpasses any amount of talent. You can pass for talented as long as you're willing to put in more time than anyone else – and surprisingly, that's how most people who are called "talented" manage to get called that.

Sometimes you have to accept that a lower amount of detail is going to make something possible, and something you can do is always better than something you can't do. After all, you never get better at things that you don't do.

If I wanted to put in another thousand hours of practice and effort to being good at sketching, I could do that. But I have other ways of expressing my ideas which aren't that, and which I have more inclination to do – and that's okay.

Pick something. Do it. Repeat process.

That's pretty much the secret to everything.

Well said, i guess i should quit whining and get to work!
