So let's talk gyms. I visited about 30 more gyms today and let's talk glitches first. There is an issue with the charge move gauge fluctuating when first filled. After a few seconds it seems to sort itself out. When swapping Pokemon on occasion your new one comes out, to be replaced by the old one immediately, to be re-replaced by the new one again. You can attack the whole time through this. HP bars also fluctuate weirdly at aome points dueing the battle but the game itself is tracking fine even if it isn't displaying it fine. At least everything seemed on track for me.
Almost all Pokemon motivation levels were adjusted appropriately upon defeat. We only had 2 instances of it not adjusting from one defeat but they were reduced after the next defeat.
You can also see how many battles your Pokemon have been in. Let's you know who really had your back in a pinch.
Lowering the motivation is such a great way to defeat the Pokemon. It's a big difference from only knocking out the lowest Pokemon and sometimes being able to knock off 2. This way it is down to the individual Pokemon itself.
And you get to feed them berries to keep them motivated! Has to be done at the gym, but it is so stinking cute!
So the coin distribution has been adjusted throughout the day. At first it seemed as though you would receive one coin per hour of defending, but then I received one of my Pokemon back and got 33 coins. He had not been on a gym 33 hours as gyms hadn't even been reactivated that long. So its a little wonky today, but you can tell they are doing their best to keep it working.
So that's some of my gym experiences from today. I hope you enjoyed the read. I wrote this from my esteem app as I find it much easier when posting screenshots from the phone. It is also very user friendly and a great way to Steem on the go so I recommend it. I'm not getting paid to say that, I'm simply a satisfied user of the app and trying to share it. Thanks again for reading and Steem on!
I like the new gym layout! It will be easier to defeat even the toughest bosses when you take their motivation level down!

Indeed. You only fight a pokemon at their toughest once, but what I enjoy is that you don't knock off the weakest. You have to kill the motivation. So even the up and coming trainers still get their time to shine in a gym.

Wow they remodeled the interfaces and battles in Go? Still wish is was a bit more like the core games and not so much app mash, but respect nonetheless.

well they never wanted to be nor said they would represent themselves like a core game. They are gps through and through, which is lovely for the active people. The core games are still awesome and have a direct effect on Go so it should be interesting to play out.
