Hey man. Really enjoyed the video. Dropped you and upvote and follow :) When I was growing up me and my friends used to play Battlefield 1942 at a LAN cafe called Battlespace. I have lots of fond memories of going there after school and on weekends and also going to the lock in events where you stay all night and they would provide pizza and drinks. Unfortunately it was found out that the owners were using pirated games!!! They got closed down but by then we had our own computers and would carry them around to each other places and have big LAN parties haha.

oh man we had so many owners using pirated games in korea. i guess it's the same everywhere.
i remember one night my brother and i got stuck in a storm and we had no other option than to keep on playing. we were pretty happy about it. until my dad came to pick us up.

thanks for sharing your story. i'm gonna follow you too and watch your stuff. looks like you play a lot of fps games.

During middle-school my and some friends went to a video store, around 10 minutes away from school, and we played there. In high-school we just stayed at school and played there :)

I was also playing around with the Half-Life SDK, not really creating a mod, but just added weapons and new features. It was really cool: I just learned C++, had not much clue about all the features of the language, but I was able to add some cool stuff :)

yea it was interesting. Either tweaking stuff yourself or downloading something cool, customizing didn't cost anything. microtransactions for these things really ruined it imo.

i used counter to play too with friends for hours and hours and hours in internet cafes. we have reached a level ( after we used the same and same names) that around my town everybody knew or have heard our names :P i still remember pool day, pool party, labyrinth italia and other :P

yea it was one of those games that lasted for years. going through school it was there the whole time.
it was actually what brought friends together.

haha when you said 2 hours each day i laughed :p
my minimum was 2 hours per day, the average was 4-5 :p and then the mmorpg took over the world!

well you also gotta average it out because i don't think people play 365 days a year 😎
i played a lot of mud games too! (rpg and completely text based)
man rpgs require time and dedication.

what if i tell you 365 days a year :p ( but for only one year) with rain snow and during holidays even more :P
yes they require so much time 2 hours of playing an mmo resulting in 1/100 of the money for a good weapon while you could play a bunch of counter strike matches

man that's pretty hardcore. you and i need to play some fps games later.
for the same reason i'm kinda staying away from mmos right now (or most games in general). once you're in you find yourself spending hours and hours.

now i have stopped playing mostly everything :P as your said too i found myself playing too much hours so now and then, the only games i am playing is card games that end quickly and i like it very much too. i have left my ''guns'' in the table a long time ago :P

but when it's time again you pick up the weapons and go.
(you gotta love john wick 😎)
