So why is walking such a challenge you ask? Well Dr Jekyll isn't particularly fast on he's feet but I guess if you want to keep calm your not going to be running anywhere, yes not even to your own wedding. The other thing that makes the walking difficult is not so much obstacles per say but rather the inhabitants. For example one of the first you will encounter when leaving your safe calm home is a child running about with a slingshot trying to hit you with rocks, not sure why maybe because they think it's funny. Well it's not funny "mostly" so I understand why Dr Jekyll would start to get stressed about this child. To makes thing worse usually the next character you meet is the well dressed man in purple, the mad bomber! Not only is this guy incredibly annoying but he shows up ALLL the time and is the character who will cause you the most trouble in the game and likely the cause of your rage quitting.

Yes he makes me angry...I admit it.. but he is also the character that doesn't really seem to any sense, why is he constantly trying to blow up poor Dr Jekyll, see it's not just your character that get's angry at this guy. When he places the bomb down it can cause other citizens to panic and run towards you, causing shoving or pushing which can cause damage. It seems most players tend to think these characters are evil and hate Dr Jekyll but this is not the case they are simply trying to get away from the Mad Bomber. And so perhaps it's in the name, he is simply a crazy guy who likes explosives and scaring people. However it still does feel he as a particular hate for Dr Jekyll, perhaps he is a rival and sees Dr Jekyll as competition.

Apart from the Mad Well Dressed Purple Bomber there are also animals to annoy Dr Jekyll like spiders, birds, cats and dogs. I practically found the birds rather funny, they basically poop on poor Dr Jekyll but this is some next level poop! Not only are the turds coming out of these birds massive but these birds have some serious diarrhoea issues covering a lot of ground fast. I think the most difficult animals are the dogs as they run back and forth making it frustrating to avoid getting hit by them. The Singing Lady is another annoying but also funny character it seems her singing notes are so atrocious that it stresses out our doctor upon hearing them.

Now let' not forget the persona of Mr Hyde as yes you can play as him too, well your forced to play as Mr Hyde once your stress meter is empty. It took me ages to figure this out but it seems that when you play as Mr Hyde your playing through more or less the same replicated area but mirrored backwards and so coming from the right side of the screen instead. The world that you are in as Hyde is a destroyed dark version of some of the same areas you pass as the doctor but instead dealing your dealing with horrid monsters rather than it's town's people when you played as Dr Jekyll.

So what is the point playing the game as Mr Hyde and what is he's part in the game? It's not easy to understand to be honest but I will try to explain and finish the review in part 3 next time.
