Teaching you how to be the best Pokemon trainer: Pokemon Showdown Tutorial

Good morning Steemmias, for today I going teach you all how to use the PKM battle simulator, so you can participate in the tournament I organized and that will take place in the coming days, it will have a reward for the winner, who will be the best Pokemon master. So lets get started.    

                             

Well, opening the website "pokemonshowdown.com" we will find a photo of the simulator and nwe will see the option of "Play online" or "install", I recommend that you choose the option to play online, it is the one that I use and so far I didnt had any problem.  

                    

 Step 1 

Create User:

After clicnking "Play Online", on the upper right corner we have to click on where it says "choose a name" to place our user, in the same section we click on the nut/gear icon and choose the "register" option to make sure we saved our user.     

        

  

Step 2 

Create Battle Team: 

After having our user, we have to create our team, for this click where it says "Team Builder".    

                                   

After that it will take us to a section where we will be asked to choose format, we will choose the "Anything goes" mood.   

     

 Having already selected the format we have to choose 6 Pokemon for our team, we will click where it says "Add Pokemon", we put the name of the Pokemon we want for our team    

                                  

Having already our team of 6 Pokemon, we proceed to place the attacks/movements, objects, and we can change the level to each one of them.                        

                           

Once we have our Pokemon with its attacks and objects, we will press where it says "Stats" and then underneath we will press where it says "Suggested spread" to change the statistics and to be favorable according to the attacks that we placed to each Pokemon.

                       

Step 3

How to challenge a partner:   

The first thing to do is to go to the left side and under "team builder" section we click where it says"Find a user" after that write the name of your opponent or fight partner and then click the "open" buttom.     

                       

 Pressing that button will take you to your opponent's profile and ask you if you want to Chat or Challenge.     

                        

 When you press "Challenge" you will have to re-choose the format "Anything goes" and choose the Team that you created to fight, after that give it back to "challenge" option and the request should appear to your battle partner.
