This is what video game journalism is now…steemCreated with Sketch.

Video game journalism has lost touch with their audience on a massive level, there is a complete disconnect with their audience and gamers, who for the most part like me are mostly apolitical and, frankly, seeking escapism, we do not want to read about useless garbage like this. So let me get this straight: For the last year or so we were told that toxic gamers are a detriment to gaming, but when players are nice, it’s still a bad thing? You got to be kidding me!

This isn’t game journalism, it is something I would expect to find on a Tumblr blog. First, they want to sanitize everyone’s interactions in multiplayer games then, when it starts to make a difference, it gives them anxiety. They complain for years about how gamers are racist and homophobic, then complain when gamers are nice. I have come to the realization that we have never had “game journalism” we went from game industry advertisements to what basically amounts to Tumblr blogs. No journalism involved…

I don't even bother chatting with other players, its a good way to get upset. There is 2 types of gamers the elitist and the one who just wants to play the game.
