You Can Own a MLB Team By Upvoting!

I'm building up my Diamond Dynasty Team for the season and ...

You Can Be an Owner!

Like last year, I'm giving the Steem Community a chance to be Owners of the "Steem Lucksacks". =)

How?

Your upvotes on related posts go towards purchasing better players for "our" Team. We need to build it up to at least a 90 ranked team to be able to compete well in League play.
This year they've made it a little more difficult (it appears) to earn better players with various "Programs" and "Missions" that must be completed, some of which are intertwined, to obtain the players without purchasing them.

Tough This Year

Currently, I've barely earned any cards worth a damn playing nearly 12 hours, so it appears early on that they're really trying to push the Pay-To-Win aspect this year.
Hopefully, with enough time, I can build a decent enough team stacked with great pitching without having to resort to buying many players. From what I've seen this year, you can pick up some great contact guys on the cheap early on. These players in turn will show improvement in real-life which will be reflected in their cards in the game.
So, that 78 rated player I picked up last night for 1,000 Stubs (the in-game currency), is now rated at 85 due to several great games in real-life. I will have the option to keep him around on the cheap or sell him on the market for a profit and try to pick up a higher rated player on the cheap with the extra Stubs.

wow I guess that's cool.. do you still play soccer @tuck-fheman

Yeah, I'm currently playing the 10 hour demo of FIFA 18 trying to decide if it's worth getting it or not. I'm still playing 17' and don't really see a big difference.

that's actually true, no difference really.. am pretty sure its worth getting it
