I've been keeping tabs on #unigine for a while since i heard about (not THAT long ago) and its a fabulous engine , its just too much for my current dev-machine (if i can call it that lol) which is quite minimalist but i was hoping to use unigine to do one of the later zones (#linux support, you see - to me , is quite important and they have it like "click install")
which cant be said for ... ahem everyone ... its a true 64bit engine as well it can certainly compete with Unreal and Unity and now they are partnering with one of my gaming heroes (since i was like what ? 14 ? when was the Atari ST ?)

maybe when i get my rtx and then develop valheim in two years with 5 people on unigine i can afford glasses decent enough to read actual books again

last update they were on about expanding the asset library (free models and #stuff) and now it says something about 3D-scans lib ... maybe sketchfabbers can go wild -

truly, the physics in this thing is amazing, and its not actual real physics simulation like you would get in scientific applications (but neither is any of the others in effect, im not sure you can fit enough ryzen in a rig to do that yet) but its REALLY all that, the cloth physics, the rope physics convex and concave massive objects
comes with an prefab example for about everything in it - but as for terrain : it looks awesome in the videos but i can simply not run that on the hardware i have - i need something that can shovel ps5 data for that probably - even the thing were the bulldozer digs up earth voxels - ...

i mean, once you have 10 billion its unlikely you'll spend that unless you do more coke than keith and you have to re-dress the band for a world tour when you're 85 years old
so why give up the castle ? for another billion ? per qualche dollare in piu , you can still sell stake, right ? even if its not public ?
