Hi everyone, I'm @wizloge and I'm here to talk about Bloodhound, a game that if, like me, you grew up with these fast-paced shooters with super-intense, challenging, and rather casual battles, you'll probably be interested.

✅review✅

✅Bloodhound puts you in the shoes of a brave member of the Order of the Gatekeepers, who has been entrusted with the sacred mission of protecting the gates of Hell. However, the infamous Astaroth cult will stand in your way. Your mission will be to eradicate their followers and thwart their evil plans. I won't add anything, since the entire introduction to the story is a couple of vignettes that plunge us directly into the game without really understanding what's going on. From there, I can tell you that there's nothing to clarify. There's no central plot, no cinematics, no story to explore, and no environmental narrative to put things into context. In short, there's nothing. In fact, in the roughly three hours I played, we only get one dialogue at the end. Between being surprised that the subtitles took up half the screen and the poor dubbing, I felt the need to watch it again to try to understand what he meant. And while, to be fair now that I have more information, I understood it, at the time it left me somewhere between indifferent and quite cold.✅

✅gameplay✅

✅Bloodhound's gameplay doesn't disappoint. It's a super-challenging first-person shooter with up to three difficulties. "Easy" equals "normal." "Normal" equals "hard." And "hard" is literally hell. Needless to say, if you dare to try the latter, you'll have to prepare yourself, as you won't even know where the hits are coming from and you'll be dying constantly, or not at all. Who knows? Continuing with Bloodhound's ability, you'll just have to get from point A to point B of the stage, eliminating all the hordes along the way in different biomes. I must add that the stage design is somewhat clumsy, to the point that I, as someone with good orientation, got lost on several occasions. Why? Because almost every room in the various stages looked practically the same. To advance in the game, sometimes we'll have to look for levers that open doors that allow us to continue. Other times, there will be three-colored keys that open paths with their respective colors. They may not always be completely clear, and sometimes they can be a bit difficult to find, but I'd be lying if I said I had any trouble with this part, and that's all anyone's asking. Well, yes, in this case I did, because while there are some elements hidden in the stage as secrets, if you don't want to complete it 100% or unlock all the achievements, it has no impact.✅

Conclusion

So, in short, Bloodhound is worth it, considering that it's coming out on console for just over 11 euros and is currently on sale on Steam for just 4 euros. It's an experience I recommend if, like me, you were a fan of titles like Doom, Quake, Painkiller, or Sirius Sam. While it's not a great competitor, even if you compare it to the release of the aforementioned titles, it's a fairly unique proposition at the moment, so you could say so. Now, if that's not the case, Bloodhound doesn't really have anything that stands out that would make it recommendable to the majority of the public. So, I'll leave it completely up to you.
