Hello Steemians!

Uggggghhhhh, there’s very little else that would describe how I’m feeling lately. It’s finals week and so for those of you who’re in school as well or have spent time in higher education know exactly how I feel.

Unfortunately not a lot has happened since my last post in Mabinogi, I did manage to get an hour here and there but wasn’t very successful at really accomplishing anything significant in game. Mabinogi aside I wanted to briefly share some quick thoughts before we jump back into this and also give you guys and update for things to come in the foreseeable future!

I have so many mixed feelings when it comes to these post that I put out. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy it and I want it to stay that way. I can’t shake these feelings I got inside so I’m going to give it too you guys straight. Sometimes it’s challenging to come up with creative posts for games.

It is easy to get kind of burnt out on one game and what ends up happening is you get this sort of vicious cycle that is self-perpetuating. One of the challenges that I face when writing about gaming content is that it’s more difficult to capture everything I do unless I were to make a written record of every step that I do/take in game. That can be a little annoying when most of us play games just to have fun. I want to continue having fun playing games for you guys and I don’t want to compromise the quality of the posts.

With that said they might be spread out a bit, but not as far out as this post. I’ve just been super stressed with school finals that’s why this one is coming out late. Wait I think I said that already… SEE! This is what happens when I got too much going on. Moving on.

As for the future is concerned. I've decided to only take on one class for the winter terms which means a lot more time for me to post and be active on steemit. It will also enable me to focus on my writing skills which I've yet to try and do. This will also be a great opportunity to be more creative and put out other content I want to show you guys as well.

What’s happened since the last post.

Well a lot in over a short span of time, I’ve delved into a new story line that I’ve barely begun to unravel. It all started when that one creepy dude in the streets of Tara came up to me while running errands for the queen, some of you may recall. If not you can read about it in previous posts.

Turns out this wasn’t just some odd coincidence that I would have a raging fan boy following me around and yes quite literally he has been following me around. His intentions are good despite the fact that he almost completely blew what’s supposed to be some secretive undercover operation.

The whole thing really is very cliché if you ask me, looking past it though one thing I like very much about this game so far is how everything seems to flow very nicely regarding story progression. I’m beginning to see how all facets of the game work together.

Though questing and learning about the story of the world you’re in is one way to progress through the game you still have the option of course to grind on monsters and other creatures for levels. I’ve done a great deal of this actually, and have neglected to progress towards the second chapter of the game.

One thing you guys need to do for me is let me know if you want me to go into more detail about the story and plot. I’ve been holding back on giving too much details regarding the stories as to save you guys from as many spoilers possible. That way any of you who're interested in playing can enjoy the same experience I'm having without me ruining it for you. Let me know what you guys want in the comment section bellow.

Here are some screenshots I captured while following the Alban Knights quest chain.

Aside from the quests I’ve been running around a lot with the guild mates doing commerce. We talked about commerce in the last post. Essentially, for those of you who missed it. Commerce is another method in which players can earn experience as well as gold. The grind is real and very boring. Hence why we like to travel as a group.
Along the way as you can see from the pictures we have had multiple run in with bandits who will try to take your loot and if you let them they’ll keep it unless you can get it back. Here are some more pictures of us running around and you can see that my health bar is a bit low due to the encounters we faced.

I eventually managed to acquire a handcart which is barely and upgrade from the backpack which I was using before to lug trade goods around. What sucks is all the amount of time I’m going to have to put into commerce in order to unlock the wagon which is the fastest method of hauling goods. Except I need 100,000 ducats which are the currency you use to trade goods. It took me two hours to upgrade from the backpack to the handcart. The handcart was valued at 3000 ducats. I'm not particularly looking forward to saving up all those ducats for the wagon, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end.

Other notable mentions, I picked up several new skills for my character. Mana shield, it’s basically a shield I can cast on my character. It will absorb damage I take at the cost of my mana pool. Pretty handy especially while fighting bosses like these!

By the way these things are super tough. Luckily I had my guild mates around to help out otherwise I’d be as flat as a pancake.

I also acquired herbalism so that I can collect herbs off the ground for making potions. Charge, which allows me to charge at my enemies with my shield. For some reason I thought I had a picture to show you guys of me being a badass charging and enemy, but I can't seem to find it. Oh well.

That concludes everything for now, please stay tuned for more. I'll likely wont be posting another Mabinogi post until later this week. I need to finish the final stretch and knock all my tests out of the water. After that I'll have plenty of time for steemit! Until then keep on steeming and gaming.

Stay tuned for more.
