It is hard to believe, one of the oldest games MMORPG created by only four people. Stephan Börzsönyi, Guido Lübke, Ulrich Schlott i Stephan Vogler were students at the University of Regensburg when they decided to start working on Tibia-product that successfully operates twenty years after its premiere. Initially, the Germans treated the project only as a hobby and although they have devoted a lot of time to him (the first line of code was created in 1995) from the beginning they wanted it to be completely free. Certainly, the university itself helped them to achieve their future success, because it was on January 7, 1997 that the first game server was launched.
