Hallo Steemians! How are all doing today?
Back again with me @zulman with another review of old games that was release for MS-DOS platform and before the year of 2000 Hence, the 90s video game.
The reason that I am reviewing these all old game is that I want to experience what the game is like. I do not play a lot of game when I was a kids. So, with this review, I want to know what are games that available in the 90s.
As usual, at the end of the article, I will give you all the information about how to play the video game that I am reviewing. Also, i will tell you how to install the game on your current PC or Mac or or if you do not wish the difficulties of installing the game, I will also give you information where you can play the game online. There are many website that provide so many old MS-DOS game.
Now, without further a do, let's start the review.

Alright, let's begin with the information about the video game development.
Electron Man is a video game that belong to the genre of platform shooting video game. This video game has a very simple gameplay. The video game was developed by a Polish company called X Land Computer Game. The game was original released in Poland by xLand in the year of 1992. The one that was released for Poland entitled Electro Body, not Electro Man. This video game was release for MS-DOS platform. For United States market, the game was released by Apogee Software with the title Electro Man. The United States version released in 1993. It is not only the title that was change, there also another changes, such as the graphics that has been updated in United States release.
This video game was offered with a shareware license. However, the developer of the game rerelease the game as freeware in 2006. They also release the Source code of the game under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 license. The main character that the player will control in this video game is a cyborg named "Jacek". This character will must get through all areas in the map while destroying all enemies on the way.
Electro Body video game, the one that was release in Poland is a very successful video game. Many considered the video game as the first game that was truly professional video game that was made and release by Polish. This video game also was described as a cult game. In the year 2014, there ware a limited collector's edition that also was release for 22nd anniversary. This game was published by IQ.

Electro Man Gameplay.
Before we are going to learn about the gameplay of the game, let's learn a little bit about the storyline of the game. The plot or the storyline is taking place in the near future. There is no exact information about the year though. The story begin with the main character's family got killed by aliens. His family get killed when the aliens attack on human-populated that was located in the space. Raging with revenge, he return to the base that was conquered by aliens as a cyborg. There many advance weapons equipped to his body in order to reclaim his home and the facility from the aliens.
In term of the gameplay, there are several levels available, in each of the levels, there are objective that the player has to fulfill. These objective is that the player have to find three electronic chips. These three electronic chips is required to to activate a tele-porter pad. This tele-porter pad is the way for the player to exit the map. There are a lot of danger that the player will face in the base. The player have to be careful because the character will instantly get killed just by one shoot and you have start from the beginning again. The player can also teleport between small area inside the map with a small tele-porter devices that spread around the map.
When the player play the game, there are also multiple upgraded available. These upgraded can be collected by a special bateries. There are a meter at the bottom corner of the screen. This meter will show how much the weapons has been upgraded. It also indicates the current firepower of the gun that player have. You can see these item which is the meter and the batteries from the picture below. The items is that the one in a red circle.
In each level, the number of shots is limited. The firepower of the weapon will fall down by one level. As the the player go to the higher level of the game, the firepower levels of the gun's rate will be drop. When this happen, the player need to wait for the weapon to cool down before the player can firing again. There also the meter on the right down corner indicating the temperature of the the weapon. if the meter touch the checkpoint, it will cause the gun's power level to drop down back to zero.

My opinion about Electro Man video games.
To be honest, this is the first time for me personally playing this game. After spending some time playing the game. This game is really fun to play. The gameplay is quite easy, even kids i think will have no trouble playing this game. There are no much control that need to be remember as well. So, to spend leisure time with this game.

As always, I will also give the information about the game restriction. I would like to make a quick reminder that this video game does not fall into violent video game. So, this video game has no age restriction. Which mean, it could be play by all people including kids. The fact the the gameplay is also very easy will make some kids fall in love with this game.
