So the videogame that I want to talk about is Lineage II, this video already had a version that was released to the market in 1998 in Korea, developed by Ncsoft, however I started to venture into this wonderful video game in its second version " Lineage II ". L2 currently has 14 chronicles or updates, the first of which is Prelude, we also have C6 Interlude (this is his update number 6, where I start to play) finally we have the Goddes of Destruction update (this has other updates).

Lineage II was released on October 1, 2003, also developed by Ncsoft using an Unreal Engine 2.5 graphics engine. It should be noted that Lineage II Interlude is considered the best chronicle of all of this video game.

The history of the game is developed in medieval world, where there are 7 races: Humans, Elves, Dark Elves, Kamael, Orcs, Dwarves, Ertheia. There are also two kingdoms Aden and Elmore. Each race can be a specific class such as: Warriors, Wizards, Summoners, Healers, Enhancers, Creators, Looters, Assassins, tanks.

The game has armor and weapons creation system where teamwork with other players is everything to guarantee an incredible game experience, with a maximum of players in "party" for 9 players. We can do raid boss, sieges of castles, fortresses, epic boss, massive wars, Olympics to show that you are the best all of your kind, among other things that allows us to make this incredible game.

It also has a farm system where we can level up by playing against the AI of the game in its extensive map categorized by levels and difficult, it also has dungeons, in the first server that I played the highest level was 80, this changes according to the chronicle or saga.

¿How did I get to know the Lineage II?

Well guys here starts my story :)

I knew this wonderful video game about the year of 2006, I was a high school student with 17 years of age, In the computer career, this is where I first ventured into the world of computers, I really liked this world of technologies . In my country Venezuela was already beginning to notice the technological changes. The issue is that always at the end of my classes of the day, I watched the cyber and all the videogame that others played and I could not believe it was something of another level and I only played the PlayStation 1, I never dared to enter a cyber because I did not know use a computer. I was embarrassed to do it. During my computer classes I became increasingly familiar with the PCs until I reached the point of mastering it, I was ready to enter the cyber but guess what happened? It was too late, video games became so popular in my city that I never found a PC unoccupied with the video game I wanted. There was a Cyber ​​in particular, the most famous of my city I remember I was always looking to play Lineage II but it was impossible because all the PCs in my city were reserved or the players just queued at very early to play, which I did not I could do for various reasons. It was such frustration that I always had. Because I could not play the video game I wanted so much, I ended up in another cyber playing some flash game.

It was not until a year after I resigned myself and gave up, but finally my luck came, for the first time I had my first PC, an Intel Pentium 4, I was incredibly happy finally what I wanted so much came to me.

At this time I did not understand the issue of online games with their private and official servers, so my first server was a private server with X1 rates (the difficulty of the game is evaluated according to the rate, x1, x2, x3, etc. .). I proceeded to download the game and install it, I remember very well when I logged in for the first time, it was a totally new world for me, My first character was a Warrior who would later become a Gladiator to finally become a great Duelist, it was hard to believe the freedom what you had with your character And what can I say I was very competitive and I did not start anything right, because I committed my first murder with Level 3 of my character hahaha, there was a player who did not let me level up so I had to kill him, but it was a serious mistake since I could not go any more to the cities to get reservations to continue leveling up, I was in a state of "Karma" I had to kill many "Mob" creatures of the game in order to get rid of the "karma". Never again kill another player for a long time.

As I was playing I had my first dungeon in a group of 4 people, it was the first time I could interact with other people from another part of the world.

I must say that Lineage II was not an easy game because it had so much content that was very overwhelming for me, having to do quest, raid boss and where team was very important and spend many hours to gather your necessary materials to create your armor and weapons and the clan theme was very important.

One of my favorite areas to reach level 40 was cruma tower, it was a multi-level tower with creatures grouped in rooms, it was almost mandatory to play in a group of 6 people maximum.

The game also had a very special area called catacombs and necropolis, where we found terrifying creatures, and the objective of this area was to collect a certain item, a very specific one that allows you to buy potions that can only be used during PvP, remember also very well this area in particular was where I tried for my first time the graphics card of my pc

However every 2 weekend all players belonging to the clan had to defend their castle, this was very important because it was a castle that gave many benefits, it was mandatory for players to be present.

Great mass wars between clans were also presented weekly for having access to the most epic boss raid of the game, whose items were unique and made a huge difference between the players who had them and those who did not.

Finally, I got to my top level and of course I was very competitive and stood out from the rest, so I went for my title as the best in my class. The players who wanted to position themselves as the best of their class had to compete with each other for a month in a field where they were randomly invoked to fight against other classes. And of course get to be a hero. They know at this time did not exist, whatsapp, instagram, twitter or Facebook I think, there was only the unforgettable Messenger MSN xD, I remember when finally my character became hero my friends from other countries send me text messages, if boy spent money in international message in our cell phones hahaha.

CONCLUSION

Lineage II marks a beginning in the world of MMORP that I will never forget, I played for more than 10 years, but you know that not everything lasts forever, since there are responsibilities and priorities that we must do in the real world over the years . What led me to leave aside this great video game that was undoubtedly the best of his time. Currently, Lineage II is still active, but is not as popular as before, I kept trying another MMORPG like tera, aion, GOW2, neverwinter among others, but none I like as much as lineage II.
