Robert “Bob” Ansani died in 1968. But, Aiuppa was the real life godfather of Ansani’s son, Robert Ansani, and grandson Robert Ansani, while Aiuppa was the front boss of the Chicago Outfit.
I hung out with two other grandsons of Bob Ansani in high school, while their father was the godson of the front boss of the Chicago Outfit. Did not know that at the time.
