Put in context, since it's 2019. Mind blowing, since we think modern started 1492. But Europe was wiped clean: slash and burn followed by disease left a bald landscape and death which almost killed everyone. We were hell bent on doing the same thing in the America's. But evangelicals seem to think, 3 and a half years, and it will all be over: the church will get raptured, and the unfortunate leftover will wear mark of the beast tattoos until Jesus rips the sky. I believe a day is like a thousand years to God. I think there's another thousand years from 2000 AD to 3000 AD, when no one gets to die. And like fire to Europe, drugs will be the fire. Drugs which used to kill people will ask questions like, What will the crack baby's grandchildren look like? Great grandchildren after grandchildren, will those still look like people? People who can't keep their pupils still, shifting back and forth endlessly..will the fight inevitably ensue, 'What you looking at?' Then I think in 3000, not 3019, Jesus will rip the sky.
