Found these two nuts today in my garden.
(It was such a lovely sunny day today and I was out in the garden to get some vitamin D)

But why I am showing you these nuts?
It's because I don't have such trees in my garden.

The garden is also closed from all sides - with high walls and high hedge, i.e. inaccessible from outside.

Yet I very often find various things like these in the garden.
And of course, I know where they are coming from.

They're coming from birds.
From the various birds that fly every day above.
Crows, rooks, blackbirds, woodpeckers...

...whichever of them carries these things in their beaks, it means it plays the role of a kind of bee.

You know, it spreads nuts and probably also capsules with seeds by trees to other places, helping them...spreading and probably helping them to be sown.

Well, I'm not sure what exactly the case is, but it's interesting and worth it to thing about it ;)

Oh yes, these here are also pictures of other things in my garden - snowdrops that have just sprouted and have not yet bloomed...
