We have definitely had an interesting year in the garden. The rabbits ate my beets right after they came up. I will probably return the favor this fall. Rabbit stew . I am going to plant beets, lettuce cilantro, spinach, Peas, green beans, and the last of my last year's garlic for a fall crop. The onions I planted 2 weeks ago are doing grand. image.jpg
Harvesting cucumbers, onions, peas, and chokecherries. The extreme heat we've been experiencing in the Midwest has also set my potatoes early. So I will be harvesting them soon. IMG_1511.JPG
As you may recall I was very late planitng squash and pumpkins. They are all coming nicely and should be a week away from picking my first zucchini.

Thank you I checked out your content. Decided to follow. Great looking corn! I did not attempt corn this year. Too many raccoons. Hard to get a crop.

chokecherries, interesting name. Do they taste like cherries?

They are very tart and a little sweet and smaller than a cherry . We make jelly and wine. Usually eat a few while we are picking but not really like eating a cherry.
