A quick gardening post

You won’t believe it, but it took me about 4 hours to do this! What a workout, gardening is better than being in any sweaty, stinky gym... It took so long mainly because the soil was hard like a rock, and on top of that rock was a thick layer of grass and grass roots that I had to manually remove with my hands.

Tomato, some kind of Asian hot pepper, and two basil plants. I don’t have much hope for basil, it’s too gentle and demanding... and tomato plants tend to grow this weird white mold in their later stages of life... But the chili tree has to survive for sure!

By the way, working with land and plants is very good for you when you are under lots of stress. It’s physically demanding and it makes you deal with soil and plant elements. Earth is warm and grounding, we all have a very deep connection to earth, she is what grows and feeds us. And plants are alive of course, but they live on a different “plane” where human pains and worries are irrelevant, but still noticed in form of energy. Touching plants, talking to them, and taking care of them seems to do something to that heavy load of whatever a particular person might be going through.

Yes... Doing something with/in nature seems to make us less vulnerable to them.

By the way, in a local gym that I attend once in a while, ALL workout machines are made by a manufacturer/brand called “Matrix”
When I saw that written on a treadmill, I was laughing as I was running.
