4 days ago I shared a 4 o’clocky blog with my Black&White photo of the dandelion I found in front of my house, And told what could be made from It.
You can find them in your garden or in the fields next to your house. So gardeners read this ....

At least 250 different types of dandelions are known. In herbal medicine, they all have a medicinal effect and leaves, but especially roots, are used for digestion and liver disorders. In addition to Europe, the dandelion originates in Africa and Asia. Man has spread the dandelion on other continents.

The name dandelion has to do with the preference that horses have for this plant. Rabbits and other animals also love it. Goats, sheep and cows use the dandelion as a medicine. the fruit fluff that are pulled loose by the wind and can then cover large distances as parachutes is what I find interesting!

Because I have had loods off comments on the first blog I searched and I found a dandelion drink available in The Netherlands but also in other countries where other STEEMIANS live.

Ben Shaws drinks have been on sale since 1871 when Ben Shaw himself used to do the rounds with his trusty team of shire horses, distributing his much loved drinks to hundreds of customers all over Yorkshire.

Today, the Ben Shaws brand is still going strong, with millions of customers enjoying these classic beverages. Try a glass of dandelion and burdock with crushed ice and a squeeze of grapefruit juice - your taste buds won't know what's hit them!

Most popular with customers in United States of America (USA), Canada, France, Italy, in MY the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Spain and Denmark, but you can buy Ben Shaws Dandelion and Burdock for delivery worldwide. Look at your local store or supermarket if it’s possible to buy it in your country.

Makes for interesting reading. I want to remember that back in SA there was a Frankie's drink that had dandelion and burdock in. It was very nice. Re the hamburgers my hubby is as good a cook where that's concerned. 😂 Just a pity he's away for three weeks at a time. I used to be an amazing cook but have gotten lazy. Now that the kids can cook I have stepped back a lot😋

I need that but maybe 7 years old is to early! Maybe start with breakfast Tomorrow ?

They can learn... Something as simple as toast and cheese. Mine are totally self sufficient and independent if I'm not around. 😂

I got a Cream creacker ( plain ) still teaching for next sunday haha

Love your dandelion photos! I've never seen that drink before, but it sounds delicious. I'll have to look and see if we have anything like that here. I remember my dad paying us a nickel per dandelion as kids to pick them out of the backyard. Then we could go down to the corner store and buy a few pieces of candy with our earnings. :)

My mum Made tea with them i am trying that with the few we pickles this afternoon with LITTLE D as in the picture. Hope its Nice. Thanks for stopping By
