Limescale on Plant Experiment

in gardening •  7 years ago

Yesterday, I was cleaning my aluminum kettle and got quite a handful of limescale. Limescales are the white residue of your tap water when boiled. Since I have been using the water I used to boil eggs to water my plants(when it's cooled of course), I thought of the possibility of feeding them to my plants, an alkaline soil loving plant and that is Lavender.

It is said that limescales contains calcium and other minerals. I was searching for some experience documented online but could not find one so I am testing it on my plant instead and record it in my post. I am hoping my plants will love them. Not using too much, but just a little.I'm gonna be updating this soon.
