It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood...

It's currently 20C/68F. On 20 December. In Denver.

So naturally, I gardened. Because global weirding.

First, I potted a houseplant I had been rooting in water.

Then, I started a new pot of cat grass for the kitties to be indoors, because it is almost winter. Technically.

Then, I did garden cleanup on the balcony. Hooray clean balcony!

I still have green onions,

Oregano,

and cat grass (though droopy) alive outside. The tomatoes did finally bite it on a cold day. It was very sudden. They survived a bunch of cold days, but not that one.

And did I mention I was working outside barefoot? Because it's that nice out!!! And Yuan helped.

And today it's snowing hard enough to actually stick on asphalt. LOL

Oh Denver, how I miss your snow! 🏂

Are you from here originally?

Not originally, born and raised in washington state. I moved to Broomfield in 2002 for college and met my husband there. We just moved back to Washington a few years ago, after our twins were born.
I do miss Colorado though. 😊
