I always provide non-alcoholic drinks at home. Even when my family and I eat out such as at restaurants or other food stalls, we always choose non-alcoholic drinks to accompany our dishes.
I have never enjoyed alcoholic drinks in my life. And I have no plans to do so. For me, non-alcoholic drinks are very good for health.
We would like you to prepare drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to accompany meals (starters, main courses or desserts), the important thing is to explain the process of making and the results of the drink. (quantity for 1 person) |

I will prepare a cup of non-alcoholic drink that I often make at home. The ingredients are very easy to get, I only use 3 ingredients. For the purpose of this course I will make a drink herbal butterfly pea flower tea. So I will serve it hot or warm.
Here are some types of ingredients that I use:
- 7 butterfly pea flowers
- 2 limes
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar (optional)
How to make it:
- Prepare a cup.
- Soak the butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 10 minutes. After the color changes to purple/blue, immediately strain and pour into a cup.
- Add about two tablespoons of lime juice.
- And finally add granulated sugar and stir. (You can - - replace granulated sugar with honey or palm sugar. Adjust to your taste) 😉

I have prepared a cup of healthy herbal drink. Now I will combine it with the right food. So I chose an appetizer of fried tempeh with soy sauce.

I have my own reasons why I chose the combination of these two dishes. The first reason is the climate issue. Currently in my country it is the rainy season. I think combining hot drinks with hot food will be the right and harmonious choice.
We can imagine a cup of hot herbal tea will be a harmonious pair when combined with an appetizer such as fried tempeh served hot/warm.
By combining these two types of drinks and foods, I am sure you will get a balanced and healthy gastronomic experience.
