I rarely complain about business.
Food is another thing....
But not about business.
Never been in my nature.
But when you get extraordinary bad service from a "so-called" reputable online company then heck even the most controlled individuals have to take action...
So who is the culprit in this story?
Enter Gearbubble
I won't bore you with a detailed story, so here are the highlights.
But this is the Gearbubble scam
I have been running a few successful online businesses for a good number of years now.
Begining of this year I stumbled upon Gearbubble.. We uploaded a couple of good quality T-shirts, mugs and caps and started marketing it.
We got a few sales - honestly nothing to brag about - and requested our first payout on August 27, 2017.
We filled in the tax forms, added our verified PayPal account, and then waited for that payment...
Which never came.
A month later we queried this to the support team.
Waited a few days to be told our account was handed to legal due to "fraudulent activities" and payment can't be processed. Of course, we requested clarification.
In the follow-up email, we were given the legal departments email address, and it stated that support no longer has access to our account, they cant help in the matter and that we should email the legal department. The support consultant stated in writing we would receive an answer within 24-48 hours....
To date...
8 emails later
One per week
We have yet to get an answer.
In my estimation, they are already 1296 hours overdue with a response...
Don't know about you, but if any of my support or legal staff in any of my companies keep a client waiting for 1296 hours....then there is trouble #justsaying
See if we did something wrong - which is pretty much impossible - at least let us know what it was. Even if it means we never see the money, at least have the balls to communicate.
For now, Gearbubble is withholding money rightfully ours.
To make matters worse, I asked clarification on their Facebook page and was blocked by most probably the owner of Gearbubble Don Wilson.
So apart from the email address, which no one ever replies to, there is no way we can determine why we are not getting paid.
Then again we are not the first people this has happened to. There are countless other complains all over the web. Yes, I should have done better research before dealing with them, I will accept that mistake.
So, our verdict in dealing with Gearbubble -DONT DO IT.
Find someone else if you are interested in a Print on demand T-shirt, mugs and cap business.
In the past 8 weeks, we tried the avenues presented to us to get this sorted. In the process we came across a few Gearbubble disciples, furiously defending the company and brand.
We get it, it does work for some....for some reason....I have my conspiracy opinion on that.
Anyhow, this was my Gearbubble rant.
Have a blessed day
