In the Bhagavad Gita, who is identified as the greatest enemy of humanity?

Lord Sri Krishna explains that ego, strength, arrogance, desire, and anger are all considered to be the greatest enemies of a human being. If one wishes to attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death, they must eliminate ego from their mind. It is essential to understand the difference between self-respect and ego. Self-respect means elevating oneself, while ego signifies looking down upon others and considering oneself superior. When we perceive the world as inferior and ourselves as superior, conflicts and disputes arise. To maintain good relations with others, we must refrain from looking down on them. Additionally, our desires and the pride associated with our achievements can lead to anger and become our ultimate adversaries. It is only by distancing ourselves from these negative qualities that we can attain the divine.
