Several days ago we celebrated Earth Day, and I thought that the time was conducive to raise awareness and reflect on the conservation of the earth's natural habitats and biodiversity, recognizing that we have an inevitable relationship of interdependence with it.

I’ve seen reports and information that have caught my attention in these moments of social isolation and quarantine due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Through both satellite and aerial images, it can be perceived that the oceans, rivers and beaches are being decontaminated; their waters are crystal clear and cleaner.
Me llama mucho la atención ver reportajes e informaciones en estos momentos de aislamiento social y cuarentena por la pandemia del Coronavirus, donde a través de imágenes tanto satelitales como aéreas, se puede percibir que los océanos, ríos y playas se están descontaminando, sus aguas están más cristalinas y limpias.
In the same way, the plants begin to make their way through the cement and asphalt, as if claiming the land that had been taken from them or destroyed due to deforestation and pollution. It is such a pleasant sensation to see how the flowers are growing and winning the battle against the concrete jungle.

We cannot remain indolent, we must take collective responsibility for the protection of our planet, because only then can we guarantee a prosperous and hopeful tomorrow for the future generations, leaving a positive legacy, based on respect and love for nature and life.
No podemos seguir indolentes, debemos tomar responsabilidad colectiva por la protección de nuestro planeta, pues solo así podremos garantizar un mañana próspero y esperanzador a las futuras generaciones, dejando un legado positivo, basado en el respeto y amor por la naturaleza y la vida.
