This time I will be showing my collection of stone boxes. I can't walk past them, it must be the hoarder in me.
This is a serpentine square box, 8.5cm by 10cm, see the detail on the lid.
This beehive-shaped box is 11cm high by 15cm diameter. I love the way the line patterns in the stone add to the total effect.

My favourite box, an alabaster square box, the lid also flips open. 14cm by 10cm
A round marble box with a flip-up lid, 7cm by 8cm diameter
A small round bloodstone box. 5cm high with 4.5cm diameter
A small 8 sided box, 4cm by 5.5cm
I use all my boxes, they contain, keys. costume jewellery, earrings, small change, stones
one sits on my desk with an eraser in it.
