Keep in mind that most people regret genital reassignment surgery, because sex is never as pleasurable as it was with the original equipment, and sexual partners tend to prefer what was originally there. Lord RayEl only has a problem with body modifications that are permanent, while being short-sighted (such as tattoos), he simply wants people to act out of logic and necessity over emotion.

Here are very real and applicable scenarios: Person #1 born male, strongly feels the need to become female. His sexual partners are primarily men. He has his penis removed, now gay men are no longer attracted to him, and straight men avoid him as well, plus the majority of his penile nerve clusters were damaged by the surgery, leaving him with little more than an open surgery scar, with greatly reduced sensation.

Person #2 born male, strongly feels the need to become female. His sexual partners are primarily men. He has breast augmentation and hormone therapy, but keeps his penis. He is sought after by gay & bisexual men, and even several that consider themselves "straight". He is even an object of desire by many women, plus his penile nerve clusters remain intact, allowing him to still fully enjoy intercourse, and please potential mates.

Both of these men appear outwardly female, and can therefore be accepted by society as female, but one of the two weighed his options more thoroughly. This is the key to following the ways of Lord RayEl... Not through denial of one's needs, but through careful evaluation of how to best achieve those needs without doing unnecessary damage.
