Although Genesis-mining is no.1 could mining company of this decade, it stopped its payouts since 21st July. I was wondering why they stopped their payouts so I contacted my friends who had bought genesis-mining contracts on my referrals and they also confirmed that they haven't received their payouts too. I contract genesis-mining and they promptly replied with an email saying:
Since then I have received only 1 payout for 23rd July which I received yesterday.
I was not convinced and digged further more on this topic on the internet and found out that they got HACKED on 21st July.

The major question here in everybody's mind: "Is Genesis-mining a scam?". And my answer would be - Just because they got hacked doesn't mean they are scam. Although I am not 100% confident but I can say I am 99% sure that they are not scam.
So the lesson to be learnt - Nothing is safe on the Internet!!! And we as a crypto miner, trader, enthusiast or newbie in the crypto world should know that this crypto world is very volatile. We should never invest more than we can afford to lose.
Although it is a bit inappropriate to say it right now but people who believe in genesis-mining and are interested in genesis-mining do use this code

They may not be a scam, but maybe they are taking advantage here... 5 days I am not getting any payouts. Support says they are having difficulty getting back on track. Timing is very suspicious, right before the August 1st fork. Problem didn't start until it was apparent the Bitcoin Cash was going to do its own thing and fork. Maybe they are slow walking the payouts so their customers' BTC are sitting in GM accounts when the fork occurs?? It does not mean much to a small miner like me but if they have 500K customers and they hold enough payouts until after August 1st, they could rake in millions by claiming all that Bitcoin cash and then dumping it.

i agree - this could also be the case. but apparently almost all cloud mining services & exchanges have put their bitcoin wallets on hold until the fork so genesis would also have done the same whether or not the hack

Thanks for sharing his info. I purchased some genesis-mining contracts using your code. I do believe in genesis-mining but at times like this when all crypto market is down and this bitcoin fork thing happening, another bad news of the genesis-mining hack nearly gave me a heart attack. BTW how much of bitcoins are you holding for the split on August 1st.
