God's word for today: Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.

Entering the Kingdom of God means learning to be assertive, to be consistent and do what fits. The Kingdom of Heaven is the same blissful life: the good, beautiful, sensible, and happy life as described by Aristotle. This is why Paul in his first letter to Timothy reminds us of the importance of living the spiritual gifts inherit from God: "Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.", 1 Timothy 6:11. What Paul is telling us is that we must be progressive, uplifting, benevolent, expansive. In short, have a good conscience and see the world with God's eyes: "To the pure all things are pure", 1 Titus 1:15.

The spiritual gifts are way, truth and life ("I am the way, and the truth and the life", John 14:6); the spiritual gifts are way because they are progressive, we all have a ranking of mercy, of righteousness; the spiritual gifts are also true because they are precise and accurate. Finally when the truth is not enough the spiritual gifts are life as in the case of the white lies.
And the spiritual gifts have by the law of return ("Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows", Galatians 6:7) a retribution, the eternal life: "Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life", Galatians 6:8.
The apostle Paul teaches us about the importance of the retribution of the spiritual life: "Fight the fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.", 1 Timothy 6:12.
Eternal life is a promise, it is the same perception with the intelligence of God: "Which God will bring about in his own time - God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever", 1 Timothy 6:15-16.
