I see normal condensation trails all the time and they don’t stick around for hours turning into clouds. I’ve taken pictures comparing the difference on numerous occasions. I can watch dozens of jets fly over on a day like today and the sky stays pure blue, yet just a couple of the types seen in my post here, and there’s instant cloud cover! And it has nothing to do with the weather affecting it, I see the differences side by side all the time.
Are you saying there are special contrails that act differently and create clouds while most do not?
