Socialists have for ever claimed that their idea (the horse) was right and solid, but the leaders (the jockey) Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot etc were inadequate. The Hoover Institution has now put up a piece by Paul R. Gregory (Why Socialism Fails) that looks at the Soviet experience and proves beyond much doubt and, despite the inanities spread by Bernie Sanders and such like, why socialism fails anytime it is tried.
