I agree, we all have certain passions, we want to make a difference in this world, help humanity in any way we can, but if the end goal of achieving success is something other than glorifying God our Creator, then we are living for self, God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in it, we humans have rebelled against God our Creator, He sent His Son to reconcile us to Himself, His Son lived a sinless/perfect life, His Son sacrificed Himself willingly on the Cross of Calvary, His Son rose again defeating death, we must repent, believe, and put our trust in Jesus Christ to be saved from the wrath to come, He offers Salvation to us as a free gift, something we utterly depraved humans do not deserve, but by His Grace we can receive, through our faith in Him, THEN out of gratitude we live our lives for Him, because He has saved us, we do good because He has saved us, out of thankfulness, out of reverence, out of adoration for the One who came down from His Heavenly Kingdom, we will all stand before Jesus Christ and will have to give an account for our lives, the ones who have put their faith and trust in Him are cleansed by His blood, they will be spared, but the ones who denied His selfless love, will be denied by Him, please don't be the one who is denied, read the Gospels for yourself and conclude whether they are history or a fairy tale, whether Jesus Christ is reliable, if not, please tell me who you know of that is more reliable than Him.
