From September 2018, our Colleges of Education will offer 4 year degree programmes leading to the award of B.Ed with specialisations, under 5 universities---UG, KNUST, UEW, UDS and UCC.
This means a first degree in Education will eventually be the minimum qualification to teach in public and private pre-tertiary schools in the country.
