It was a summer night, and I was camping in the woods with my friends. We had set up our tents near a lake, and we were all looking forward to a fun weekend in the great outdoors.

But as the night went on, strange things began to happen. We heard footsteps around our campsite, even though we knew that we were alone in the woods. We heard whispers in the wind, but we couldn't make out what they were saying.

Then, things started to get more sinister. We saw shadows moving around our tents, and we heard a strange laughter that seemed to come from nowhere.

We were all frightened, and we decided to pack up our things and leave. But as we were packing up, we heard a scream. It was coming from the lake, and we knew that we had to investigate.

When we arrived at the lake, we saw a woman standing in the water. She was wearing a long, white dress, and she had long, black hair that was flowing in the wind. She was looking straight at us, and we could see that she was holding a baby in her arms.

We were all frozen with fear, but then the woman began to speak. She told us that she was a ghost, and that she had been searching for her baby for years. She had drowned in the lake many years ago, and she had been haunting the woods ever since.

We could see the pain and sadness in her eyes, and we knew that we had to help her. We asked her how we could find her baby, and she told us that he was buried in the woods, near a fallen tree.

We spent the rest of the night searching for the baby's grave, and eventually, we found it. We dug it up, and we found a small, wooden box inside. When we opened it, we saw a small blanket and a note that said "I will always love you, my sweet little angel."

We knew that we had found the baby, and we took the box to the woman. When she saw it, she smiled for the first time. She thanked us, and then she disappeared, leaving only a soft breeze behind.

From that day on, we never saw or heard from the woman's ghost again. But we knew that we had helped her find peace, and that her soul was finally able to rest.
