The Globalist Church of Climatology

The Globalist Church of Climatology represent the authoritarian Left. They can't convince the majority, so they huddle in urban oases and work with like-minded cast-outs to gain political power. From the heights of elected positions they dictate the new order to us and dare us to object.

What I see in the leaders of the Church of Global Warming is avarice. They are willing to take any stand, defend any point of view (no matter how offensive), and academically prostitute themselves in order to obtain fame, status and grant money from the UN's $10 billion Green Climate Fund. I can detect no consistent ideology behind the movement. The adherents vary from New Age trendies (at the bottom), to hungry academic losers (anxious to plump their resumes for speaking tours), to billion dollar corporations and marketing groups. The almighty dollar (and Euro) seems to be the one common theme that links the leaders, and there is a well-orchestrated global marketing campaign (including television shows, ads, books, cartoons, and professional speakers) to encourage the sheeple to toe the line against their own interest.

The UN Green Fund's pet academics are forced to continually revise Global Warming Theory because their lucrative chicken-little computer models do not correlate at all with measured climate data (over 18 years with no measurable atmospheric global warming). The Green Climate Fund is intended to be the centerpiece of efforts to raise Climate Finance of $100 billion a year by 2020. That kind of money can buy a lot of academics. 

I believe in sun-caused climate change. One of the most intense periods of growth for the young European civilization was the Medieval Warm Period. The Global Warming Scammers have attempted to erase this productive, lucky generation from history. Rewriting history is standard behavior for social reformers!

The Church of Climate Warming would love to have us debating all the conflicting facts, distorted evidence and bogus computer models. They profit when we discuss the merits and pitfalls associated with making use of various computer models. They simply garner more grants to "study" the issues when we point out their flaws. The more we argue their data points, the more we create the need for more fiddled charts.

For me, the most interesting part of the Global Warming Scam is the National Socialist aspect. It's a self-imposed authoritarian fad based upon pseudo science. It's a social revolution for elites, and austerity for the rest of us. It's the coming-of-age for television scientists who become famous for sounding profound. It's the controlled de-evolution of civilization.

I think that's what is most offensive about this whole thing to me. It's nothing more than a slick marketing campaign bolstered by fraudulent science, and I'm watching reasonably intelligent (if thoughtless) people stampede to be the first to shut down the coal plants that light their homes! They don't consider the coal-fired energy required to construct their steel forests of windmills, their shiny fields of solar glass, their banks of chemical-laden batteries. They don't consider the effect darkness has on solar power, or how much electricity a becalmed windmill generates. They don't consider how a windy, sunny day followed by a windless night might add stress to an electrical grid already plagued by peak-time failures. They don't consider how the new "green" laws currently being enacted will de-industrialize the USA economy (even more than it already has been) and enforce an austerity that few Americans will appreciate.

They will certainly complain (alas! too late) about the laws once the effects are evident (as they now do about CISPA, NDAA, TARP, NAFTA, SOPA, GATT, Patriot Act, TPP...). The thoughtlessness of the trendies is what offends me. I can certainly comprehend the voracity of the leaders of the Church of Global Warming; I can easily see through their transparent obfuscations; but when trendies mindlessly regurgitate the party line, I'm reminded of nothing less than East Germany in the 1980's.
