ASCRIBE THE GLORY TO HIM [Daniel 2C]

1. “The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, “ARE YOU ABLE TO MAKE KNOWN TO ME THE DREAM WHICH I HAVE SEEN, AND ITS INTERPRETATION?”
2. Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king.
3. “BUT THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN WHO REVEALS SECRETS, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these.”
   Daniel 2:26-28 (NKJV)

• Daniel blessed the God of HEAVEN, He answered and said (Daniel 2:20-23):
BLESSED is the name of God forever and ever (Daniel 2:20).
WISDOM and might are of God (Daniel 2:20).
GOD changes times and seasons (Daniel 2:21).
GOD removes kings and raises up kings (Daniel 2:21).
HE gives wisdom to the Wise (Daniel 2:21).
HE gives knowledge to those who have understanding (Daniel 2:21).
HE reveals deep and secret things (Daniel 2:22).
HE knows what is in the darkness (Daniel 2:22).
LIGHT dwells with Him (Daniel 2:22).

• Daniel also thank God that:
  HE, God, gave him wisdom and might (Daniel 2:23).
  GOD made known to him what they, Daniel and his companions, have asked of Him—God did make known to them the King's demand (Daniel 2:23).

• The Secrets of continuous flow of Revelation In one's life are praises and Thanksgivings.

• Always acknowledge God as the source of your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding—like Daniel did.
• If you failed to give the praise and the honour of all your accomplishment to God, you will soon dry up.
• Revelation is accessible through Thanksgiving and praise; when you always acknowledge God as your source and attributed the reason for your success to Him, and give every Glory to Him.
• God will not share His glory with any Man: "I am the Lord, that is My name; AND MY GLORY I WILL NOT GIVE TO ANOTHER, NOR MY PRAISE TO CARVED IMAGES" (Isaiah 42:8).
• Daniel gave the credit of the Revelation he received to God (Daniel 2:27-30).
• Joseph did the same when he interpreted Pharaoh's dreams:
  15 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.” 16 So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “IT IS NOT IN ME; GOD WILL GIVE PHARAOH AN ANSWER OF PEACE" (Genesis 41:15,16).

• Always give the credit of the results and successes in the work of ministry to God.

• If you shared God's Glory with Him, you may not last in the Ministry work.
  THE secret of unending success in Life and the Ministry is when you always acknowledge God in everything you do (Proverbs 3:5,6).
• Always know that you are not special, good or better than others, whatever feat you perform is by God's grace.
  DANIEL said: “BUT AS FOR ME, THIS SECRET HAS NOT BEEN REVEALED TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE MORE WISDOM THAN ANYONE LIVING, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart” (Daniel 2:30).
• Also, God will do a thing because of His servant who call on Him and walk with Him, and to prove that He is God.
• Daniel said the secret was revealed in order to attest to them who made known the interpretation, also God wanted to reveal the thoughts of the king's heart to him (Daniel 2:30).
  GOD is sovereign and supreme!

• God will do a thing because of His servant who called on Him always and serve Him faithfully.

• Your relationship and fellowship with God would not benefit you only, it also would benefit those who relate with you—Those who are under the influence of your leadership.
• If you have had a good standing with God, that is, good communion with God, He will do whatever you have asked or requested for those under your leadership.
• God revealed Nebuchadnezzar's dream because He wanted to honour his servants—Daniel and his companions, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah (Daniel 2:30).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
