How often do we come across people who have dedicated their lives for others?
Living for others gives us the right purpose to live and helps us grow in our endeavor.
20 years of service to the Enlightened One, Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, carved a path for Pujya Niruma, to lead a life with a higher purpose and become the beacon of Jagat Kalyan i.e. Salvation of the World.
Param Pujya Dadashri’s directive for Pujya Niruma, “You have to become the mother of the entire world!” was enough for her to get going on the path of serving others. Param Pujya Dadashri clearly understood young Niruben’s unflinching desire for the salvation of the world. But before becoming eligible to become the torchbearer, it was important for Her to pass through the litmus test of purity and dedication as envisioned by Param Pujya Dadashri.
Param Pujya Dadashri started to groom Niruben, carving away all the weaknesses and imperfections within Her. Though the process wasn’t as easy as it sounds, it was Niruben’s complete surrender and humility that made all the undertakings by Param Pujya Dadashri possible. She always knew in Her heart that anything done by the Gnani is always for Her ultimate salvation only.
She strived not only to achieve Her goal, but also helped several others to attain their spiritual goals. And finally, when directed by Param Pujya Dadashri, Niruben took on the formidable role, that of being the world’s Mother. The love She showed for everyone around Her was incomparable and that is the reason that She came to be called as ‘Maa’ by everyone irrespective of their ages. Many young men and women considered Her to be their role model and came to Her to looking forward to live a celibate life and join Her in Param Pujya Dadashri’s mission.
Such is our dear Niruma!
Isn’t it wonderful to see how a single minded determination and dedication can lead to a life worth living and following?
On this auspicious occasion of Pujya Niruma’s Gnan Day (Self-Realization Day), let’s resolve to live our life with a higher purpose like Her and attain our spiritual goals in life. Let’s follow our dear Niruma and determine to be devoted like Her in rendering seva (service) for the most noble cause of Jagat kalyan (salvation to the world) and at the same time persevering for the ultimate spiritual goal of Moksha (liberation) as well.
