URBAN LIFE PLUS NATURE- THE GREEN LIVING

We work in concrete all week, sleep in concrete all night- except if your home is made of glass or steel. I do not understand how people don't get it, living an urban life style does not need to be oppressive and sore; it should be fun and relaxing. That is why we all want to escape to the great outdoors to unwind and savor the breath taking smells of Green leaves and trees.

So i ask you:

Why can't we just bring nature into our urban lives, into our homes and offices? Can we diversify and mash-up technology and nature to our satisfaction? Yes we can, it make sense when we make use of the flexibility of live.

Here is an Idea:

Do you feel better in a forest or green area? Or you feel more refreshed in a vegetative environment? To most of us, that is a yes. Then the Go-Green roof, Go-Green walls; using soil and plant is a perfect solution to this dilemma. This is the idea that brought the Go-green project into existence.

You wish to try it? Here is how:

You own a office you want to transform into a mini-garden? Or it's your home you want to transform, here are some few tips for you to get you going:

Target areas

• Those wasted space underneath your stairs, or behind your doors or your passage way/Corridor.

• Your Balcony, courtyards, garage(If you have a very large one)

• Any empty space.

Procedures

• Get moderate size flower vases or buckets (Choose varieties of sizes).

• Choose the different green plants and flowers you like (Ideally crawlers are perfect for this project)

• Plant this green plants with stakes (for the crawlers)

• If possible make it interwoven i.e a mesh network, this will make the plants interconnect when fully grown.

• Finally comes the pruning; wet twice a day and make them have fresh air.

Nature can never be restocked, it is a simple way of saying that nature is depleting because we think mainly of technological advancement and our capital resources instead of thinking about the importance of nature to life forms and how to preserve it with every means possible.

We do not inherit earth from our ancestors; we borrowed it from our Children......

This is to tell us how we have abused our surrounding, our only home; except if there is another planet we could all relocate to. So let us live and use the remaining good portion of this planet and it's resources wisely because we have no where else to go after it collapse totally.
