Monte de Guirim

in goa •  2 years ago

The village of Guirim in Goa is named after its hillock (from the Sanskrit giri meaning mountain, hill, or hillock). Perched atop the knoll is the Alverno Chapel.

These images were taken during the monsoon season when Goa is transformed into an oasis of green. Following the stills is a short video.
