Goat wrangler

After writing my introduction post we went to give our neighbors some eggs. With only us and my parents eating maybe 10 eggs a day and skipping some days, we started having a little bit of a surplus, besides sharing with these neighbors is an amazing experience. These are the people who gifted us our billy named Thomas and also our soon to be nanny Molly. They let us feed their horses and are always open to letting us come see their new baby goats. They also introduced us to the woman we got the chickens from back when they were just a day or two old! It's been such a blessing having them as neighbors and having them in my daughters life.

Anyways, today we went over around 9:30 and it was already hot hot hot! We got to meet two new babies and see how the ones we met last time have grown up. Such sweet creatures that entertain my two year old to no extent! She chased those poor babies around till she finally caught one over and over again.

This little girl is only a couple of days old and after getting caught and held a handful of times just gave up and accepted it was going to be caught and held and just melted into it. So cute. Completely confirms my feelings that kids (human and animal) belong together.

Now if only it would cool down a little so we can consider breeding our two then we can experience goat milk and butter and baby goats.

Blessings!
