Scriptures on faith: And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches. Philippians 4:19

Paul in his letter to the Philippians explains that there are needs according to the flesh and needs according to the spirit. For those who live according to the spirit, God who is the wisdom itself, is the one who through providence provides according to his riches: And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches. Philippians 4:19.
This teaching Jesus explains it in another way: "But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well", Luke 12:31.
Faith is necessary but we fundamentally need progressive thinking, the gift of knowledge. All of God's blessings work progressively, through small changes, constant over time; that's why we talk about progressive mercy, progressive constancy, progressive perseverance. Those who live according to the spirit do not seek to satisfy selfish needs, empathy implies "making our own the need of others", in this context material wealth is a means and not a goal by itself. God's wealth is wisdom and its deep mysteries, in this consist of the real wealth of man.

God cannot provide those who live according to the flesh, those who live according to the flesh act, move out by fear and greed: "Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs" 1 Timothy 6: 9-10.
Natural men do not live according to the principles of faith, by natural man is understood those people who live pending of the material wealth and the pleasures that the body provides. God meets our needs through the wealth of his gifts, if we do not value the gifts of God in the simplicity of its manifestation, in the simple things of life, God cannot provide us with absolutely anything. Jesus explains to us that the kingdom of God is like the seed that sprouts, the dough that ferments and rises. We choose.
