The holy ghost in the plan of God: Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession. Ephesians 1:14

The apostle Paul at the beginning of his epistle to the Ephesians developed the basis of his theology by explaining the nature of the holy trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the three spiritual persons who make up a single wisdom, that is, one God.
And Paul, to explain the redemptive work of Christ, explains first of all that God exists from an eternal present, that is, God possesses all time, past, present, and future; in other words, we cannot apply temporal concepts to God. And this is why Paul taught about the concept of predestination in the Christian theology, God predestined his people before and from the creation of the world, the apostle tells us: "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will" Ephesians 1:4-5.
And the people predestined by grace, that is, the people chosen by the faith in Jesus, are called to carry out God's plan, through the spiritual gifts that the holy ghost confers to the believers in the kingdom, the empire or dominion of God's perfections. Continuing with his thought, Paul spoke of the holy spirit as the guarantor of the new promise, which is no longer a country or a land like the children of Abraham according to the flesh, but the gift of eternal life itself, the contemplative activity, and this is how he explained this spiritual truth: "When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory" Ephesians 1:13-14.
The action of the Holy Spirit in God's plan according to Paul is fundamental because according to his theology, God's creation is still developing and is in a state of incompleteness, a situation that will end with the second arrival of the Lord.
