when you were young I called you fish
hiding under rocks
poking your head out to feed
when you grew I called you walker talker
always asking questions
and already knowing the answers
when you grew in stature
I called you warrior
for the way you looked after your nature
you never let it down
or hid from your instinct
now you are grown and i call you elder child
for you have seen your shortcomings
and you have climbed that mountain
to save the infinite divine
will you now be angel bright spirit
for our world needs you
as it needs all good people
to chime
to harness
