Why do u worship God...See my Reasons.

Just like Nicodemus in the bible, a friend came to me at night after a long and stressful day and asked, 'Kachii, You worship God because you fear he will torture you for all eternity in hell and yet you claim GOD is LOVE?'. All of a sudden, my fatigue and weakness disappeared and an unusual strength descended on me cos nothing invigorates me as sharing the word of Jesus Christ, especially when a curious soul is involved. I looked at him and answered;

For your information, I don't worship God "because he will torture me for all eternity if I don't ", I worship him because HE IS GOD. He doesn't need my worship to be God, Cos He is God all by Himself, AND THE ONLY REASON WHY U & I WERE CREATED IS TO WORSHIP HIM so that we will be reunited with him forever in Heaven. I worship him because he has shown me too much love and compassion by giving out His only begotten son Jesus Christ to redeem me from bondage even when I was born and living in sin. I worship Him because it is the height of foolishness to not acknowledge and worship my maker who created me for that reason.

Disdainfully ,He looked at me again and asked, 'How are u even sure that there is God the creator?'. I asked him, ' what is this u are wearing?', 'Clothes' he said. I asked him, how did these clothes come into existence? He said, well, man made them. I said good, We have clothes, cars, shoes, houses etc because someone somewhere sat down, planned, designed and carefully crafted them into existence, same logic extends to the moon,stars, sun and all the universe. Everything was carefully planned and staged at the right places such that if they were not where they are, existence would be impossible. For example, the Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun, life would be impossible if it was a bit closer or a bit farther. If closer, by as small as 1m, we would all roast to death, and if farther by same distance, we would all freeze to death. Again, night and day comes daily, seasons come and go, and all these are not by accident. God planned it all and brought them into existence.

He smiled in affirmation to these truths and I told him, it is only a fool will say there is no God. He said @kachii! I agree now, please lead me to God.
